Humble is the way 
Embrace going low 
I bow down 
Descending the narrow road

I don’t need to get knocked down
I choose to kneel without falter
Laid down at your feet
Surrendered at your altar

I’m sorry when I forgot
That your ways are always higher 
Your mercy invites me in
And my yes keeps me in the fire 

You say those who are last 
Will be invited to the table head 
I can’t say I fully understand 
How humility puts you ahead 

But yes, humble is the way
Going low we enter in
